One side of practice involves our effort and culminates in a conceivable liberation. Another side is how all things come forth and realize us – this is inconceivable liberation.

On March 27, 2005, the Koan class reached case 100 in the Book of Serenity. The class started around 1990. To celebrate, students wrote poems based on the cases and they were presented to Tenshin as a book. Please enjoy these wonderful poems.
